COMPETA is a beautiful village. It has grown considerably over the past few years becoming a thriving centre for the British. Another typical whitewashed village. It too has a central Plaza with many fine restaurants, cafes and tapas bars. Competa is very high up, hence its amazing panoramic views. The winding 30 minute journey after leaving the Autovia is not to everyones liking, though residents stress you do get used to it. However, once you arrive you can’t help but say the journey was worth it.
