LA HERRADURA (horseshoe bay) nestles between the Punta de la Mona to the east and the rock of Cerro Gordo to the west. The beautiful bay is sheltered from west winds creating mostly crystal-clear waters and therefore a popular location for those who enjoy water sports. There are many beach bars and restaurants who take pride in serving the specialties of the region. Recently, the pre-project negotiations taking place in respect of a new Golf Course behind the town were accepted and if it goes ahead, demand and property prices will undoubtedly increase. Various apartments, townhouses and urbanisation properties can be found in and around this area.
